MOVING BUSINESS

Hi~ well, I'm new to this whole "blog" thing and since we are moving to what most people consider the "North Pole", I thought I would create a blog so that our family and friends could keep in contact with us.

By the way, I'm Stacy - the mother - my husband is Mike - the daddy- and we have two beautiful boys, Blake who is 3 and Grady who is 3 months. I'm an RN and my husband is a rancher. Our story begins with a courtship in 2003, marriage in 2004, baby in 2006, baby in 2009 and move in 2010...by the way, this is our 5th move in 7 years, with one more to come later this summer. So needless to say, I'm an expert at packing and unpacking. The thrift store and the dump have become two of my closest friends. My husband's family has recently sold their ranch here in ol' Nebraska and have relocated to South Dakota. I don't even know what South Dakota has for football teams, so we'll remain faithful Huskers!! My husband just informed me that they have the Jackrabbits, but who wants to be called that? We are going to make the trip "up north" here in 4 days where I have luckily been offered a job at a hospital in North Dakota as a Registered Nurse. My husband is going to continue ranching with his father and our two boys will grow up with their cousins. What a great opportunity to be able to live close to family again. Having said that, my parents will be sad that we are now going to be 7 hours away instead of 1 1/2, but thanks to cyberspace and my newest addiction of "blogging", we'll be able to keep in close contact.

So there is my quick story in a nutshell. I'm going to TRY and keep this up as I'm sure our friends and family back home would like to see what's going on in our lives...or not? So here's to the MOVING BUSINESS...I'm SO ready to be done with it!!
