Today is the actual day of Grady's birthday, but we won't celebrate until Saturday when all of our family can be here! It's so hard to believe that this little guy is 1 already. Where has the time gone? Just 1 year ago, he was this helpless little creature who depended on me for everything. Now, he can hold his own bottle, feed himself and as of today, really started walking! Makes me sad to think that my baby is growing up, but grateful that I'm his mommy and could watch him reach all these milestones.
We were planning on going shopping today with Grandma Lynda since daddy is gone, but poor Blake got sick yesterday afternoon and is still not better today. He's vomited all last night and today. The nurse in me is wanting to stick an IV in him and give him some Zofran to make him feel better, but I guess juice and crackers will have to do for now. He's currently into a 2 1/2 hour nap. He needs it. We were up most of the night. Hope he feels better when he wakes up. The weather outside is 47 degrees and windy, so it was a good day to stay indoors.
