Homeward Bound

Today was the day to move our last group of cattle home to sell on Wednesday. I think there were around 250 head of yearlings. We got an early start 6:30 am...when I say "we", I really mean Mike. I was still at home snoring in the recliner. But Blake and I made it to our intersection to ward off the critters from heading the wrong way just in time!

Blake was pretty impressed to see all the cowboys on their horses. He's got it in his blood I tell ya. He was mad that he didn't have his chaps on and cowboy hat. He was "hippin" and hollerin just like the big boys do.

I didn't "hip and holler", just mearly said, "oh crap" and "please don't come my way". All in all, we got them to their new home for the next few days by 9:30 am and got to enjoy a great breakfast of egg casserol, fruit, rolls and banana bread. YUMMY!
